Claude Email
A private set of command-line tools that lets one person's AI assistant (Claude Code) work in that person's own Gmail and Google Calendar.
What it does
- Searches and reads the owner's email, and saves drafts and replies as drafts.
- Archives, labels and stars the owner's messages.
- Reads the owner's calendars and creates or changes the owner's own events.
Who can use it
Only its owner. It isn't offered to the public, has no sign-up, and is used only with the owner's own Google accounts.
Safeguards
- Nothing that reaches another person (an email, a calendar invite, an RSVP) is sent without the owner's explicit approval of that exact item.
- It can't permanently delete mail, empty trash, change Gmail settings, filters or forwarding, or share files.
- Sign-in tokens stay on the owner's own computer.
